Working with me to create something unique and bespoke for your big day doesn’t always have to mean a completely one-of-a-kind print. As a pattern-designer, I have a wide range of prints I have created, which can be made personal to you with some clever know-how. This is what happened with the wonderful Mark and Peter who I had the pleasure of meeting at The Un-Wedding Show last year.

When I met Mark and Peter, they were planning a stylish and intimate Harry Potter infused wedding and had selected two superb suits, one in a sumptuous maroon and the other in a timeless blue. They were looking for a way to tie (spot the pun here) their two suits together. They shared suit photos with me and I made suggestions of which prints in my collection would work best, mocking them up next to the suits so it was easy for them to visualise how they would look. They fell in love with my Kingscote print design choosing it in two different colourways.

I produced a mood board to show how my Kingscote print could be adapted to compliment the differing colour of each suit, but also bring the ties and pocket squares together in a unifying way that reflected the big day. Mark and Peter were so happy with the results, they also asked me to make them a pair of bespoke printed socks in each colourway!

Sustainability is really important to me and as always, the accessories and gifts I created for Mark and Peter were designed to have a lifespan long beyond the wedding day as they can be worn again and again. I digitally print all my fabrics, only printing what I need, and I use every last bit of fabric so there is zero waste in my production process. I use natural and recycled fabric and print using eco inks. All the accessories were presented in recycled gift boxes.

Thank you so much Mark and Peter for choosing me to be part of your very special day. I love the print you chose and it was a pleasure working with you.
