WOW! This is why I LOVE my job. It was an absolute joy to design a bespoke print for the lovely Hannah and Alastair. Every wedding project I work on is special because I get to use my skills and experience as a pattern designer to create something truly meaningful for someone else.
While I connect with every commission, some stand out just a little more, and I fell in love with Hannah and Alastair’s concept for the print and the colours.

I met Hannah and Alastair (and their gorgeous dog) at The UnWedding Show in February 2023 (you can catch me there in 2024 later this month too!). They were really excited to hear about the kind of products I could create from a bespoke print made exclusively for them, and I loved getting to know them and bringing the location of their proposal to life. Their memory encapsulated in a print.

Hannah and Alastair were keen to ensure that every member of their wedding party felt included and incorporated by the print, even to the point that they commissioned me to make a special collar and doggy bow-tie for the third member of their family!

Alastair and his groomsmen were kitted out in ties and pocket squares with the stand-out print, which really complemented the colour of their chosen suits.
I also made ties for the bride and groom’s fathers, a bespoke scrunchie headband for the best woman, as well as coordinating bridesmaid headbands, scrunchies and scarves as gifts for the wedding party.

Sustainability is really important to me and as always, the accessories and gifts I created for Hannah and Alastair were designed to have a lifespan long beyond the wedding day as they can be worn again and again. I digitally print all my fabrics, only printing what I need, and I use every last bit of fabric so there is zero waste in my production process. I use natural and recycled fabric and print using eco inks. All the accessories were presented in recycled gift boxes.

Thank you so much Hannah and Alastair for choosing me to be part of your very special day. I love the print we created and it was a pleasure working with you.
